Great job opportunity at the HKBM! 

 

We are hiring a new Education Manager to lead the different educational programs developed by the Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership, organisational, communication and educational skills to conduct diverse and exciting tasks including:

 

• Managing visits and leading tours for our guests at the Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum

• Lead and support a diverse team of interns and volunteers

• Write short biological notes weekly

• Manage appointments and communication with media

• Manage our social media and websites platforms

 

The candidate should have a strong interest for biology and biodiversity with a degree or a strong past professional experience in a related field. Excellent skills in Cantonese and English both speaking and writing are required. Interests and skills in photography and/or video making and editing is a bonus. 

 

Due to our opening days, the successful candidate should be willing to work regularly on both Wednesdays and Saturdays, with flexibility for compensating days.
